  • FAQs

    What should I bring?

We recommend wearing chest waders and boots if you have them (don’t worry if not, we have spares), as they’ll keep you dry when handling fish in the water.

You can also wear shorts, sandals, long pants, a rain jacket, sunglasses, and sunscreen. All of which we recommend brings as weather can change quickly on the water. We usually advise our clients to bring a bag with clothes for various weather conditions as well as spares in the event you get wet.

    Do I need fishing experience?

Not at all! We welcome anglers of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned pros.

    What happens if it rains?

We fish rain or shine! In fact, sturgeon love the rain, so a little wet weather may just increase your chances of landing a big one.

    Do we take breaks?

Yes, there will be many opportunities to take breaks.

We stop for lunch as well as stopping to check out some of the great beaches along the river where you can explore.

Many clients like to rock hound. The river is known for not only beautiful agates but gold!

We are working on securing a gold claim so stay tuned for that.

    What kind of boat?

We operate a 22′ North River fully covered jet boat, which is equipped with all the necessary safety gear and is fully compliant with Transport Canada regulations.

The boat is designed for a fun and successful day on the water.

It features a shade umbrella that covers the entire boat for added sun protection, a portable BBQ for preparing meals onboard, and a misting fan to keep everyone cool on hot days.

For entertainment, we have a Bluetooth stereo, and coolers with ice and water are available to keep everyone hydrated.

Additionally, we provide trout fishing rods and tackle for those interested in trying their luck with smaller fish during the charter.
